Instructor course ‘From Idea to Product’

‘From Idea to Product’ is an instructor course designed to give your students a hands-on experience with entrepreneurship, where the process from finding a business idea to the creation of a prototype is carried out.

The course mainly includes team assignments that are solved at school and at home. The total volume of the course for a student is 8 academic hours, of which 5 are classroom lessons and 3 are independent work.

Part of the course is the Business Battle, an intensive and practical educational game that helps players to understand the challenges facing a start-up entrepreneur. The game takes place in real time, in one room, and uses the Bizplay game platform.

Themes: generation and validation of ideas, customer, competition, sales, market, prototype, presentation of a business idea, teamwork

Age: from 13 years

This course was created and made available within the framework of the project ‘Further development and digitisation of the game set and instructions for the educational game Business Battle, and making it available free of charge’. The project was funded from the European Social Fund.

Instruction teaches you how to instruct the practical learning game Business Battle. The course is primarily aimed at teachers.

Business Battle is an intensive learning game that involves digital tools, but is played in real time in one room.

The game is suitable for students of the 3rd stage of study, vocational education, and upper secondary school.

Goal: Entrepreneurship practice; practising communication in foreign languages

Subject area: Economics and business education, career education, business and administration

Topics: Coming up with ideas and validating them, sales, market, sales strategy, teamwork, communication
